About CarLazer
CarLazer is a European vehicle classifieds platform. We make it easy to buy and sell cars, motorcycles, and commercial vehicles across borders and languages.
The problem we set out to fix
Selling a vehicle in Europe shouldn't be complicated, but it is. The market is fragmented by language. A seller in Brussels and a buyer in Amsterdam might be a perfect match, but they'll never find each other because they're searching on different platforms in different languages.
The platforms that do exist haven't changed much in the past decade. Most charge sellers before a single person sees their listing. Listings are often incomplete or inconsistent, making it hard to compare vehicles. And every country has its own platforms, so the moment you look across a border, you're starting from scratch on a site you've never used, in a language you may not speak.
We kept running into this ourselves and hearing the same frustration from people around us. At some point we stopped complaining and started building.
How CarLazer works
We started in Belgium in late 2025 with a few clear principles: private sellers should be able to list for free, language shouldn't be a barrier, and the platform should be built around quality and useful features rather than the bare minimum.
When you post a listing on CarLazer, your description is automatically translated into English, French, and Dutch. A buyer browsing in any of those languages can find your vehicle without either of you doing extra work. Private sellers and professional dealers appear side by side on the same terms. No paid placements, no boosted ads.
The platform handles cars, motorcycles, and commercial vehicles. You can filter by dozens of criteria, from basic specs like mileage and fuel type to detailed equipment lists. Dealers can set up a storefront, invite their team, and manage their inventory from a shared dashboard.
Where we're going
CarLazer currently covers Belgium, France, and the Netherlands. That's where we started, but it's not where we plan to stop.
The European used vehicle market is massive and still largely locked behind national borders. Our goal is to open it up. We're expanding to new countries and adding more languages so that a buyer in Berlin can find the right car from a seller in Lisbon, without friction.
We're building this step by step, country by country. Every market we enter gets full language support and the same fair conditions we started with: free listings, equal visibility, no barriers.
